Hello! I'm Mike And I Like Money!

Around 1982, I was given my first “real” computer – a commodore VIC 20. As my computers improved over the next few years, I was one of the early adopters of what was then known as the “Information Superhighway,” or “the world wide web.” I was on the internet when “websites” were called BBS’s (Bulletin Board Systems) and required you to dial into each individually, using your landline and a very expensive 9600 baud modem.

I registered my first domain name in the 90s and leased my first unmanaged dedicated server a few years later. I would often register a domain name, put up a (very early version of) WordPress website, get it listed in the DMOZ (pre-Google) and Yahoo, then take it down and start again. Building websites and ranking them were just fun to me.

What's Wrong With Money?

In 2010, I was laid off from a career in the film industry that had spanned 25+ years. I then packed my bags and moved to Las Vegas to start a successful home-based event planning business. During this time, I taught myself SEO skills that have stuck with me ever since. However, I put the party lifestyle on hold when I moved to Texas to start an escape room while building a passive-income business on the side.

COVID killed the escape room, but now I’m able to focus on teaching others while pursuing other interests such as photography and building websites.

The best way to start earning money passively is to not hesitate. Stop dreaming, and start DOING! It’s not going to “just happen.” You actually have to work for it. But you’ll feel incredibly rewarded when the dollars start coming in. The skills and knowledge I will teach you through videos, classes, and my newsletter will be eye opening, and will help to motivate any true entrepreneur.

I also love to find deals. But, opposite to that, I love to treat myself to life’s more expensive luxuries from time-to-time. My interests are far and wide, and I like to share them with others. I enjoy sharing my successes as well as lessons learned from failures (and there are plenty of those to share).

While you’ll find a wide variety of topics on this new site that I decided to build out, I hope you’ll find most of it to be useful.

Let's Make Money

My goal has always been to make money and to have fun doing it. I also believe in giving back whenever my expectations are overtaken by an abundance of goodwill. We’re all in this together, so why shouldn’t those who make a little more give a little back?

Along the way, I’m hoping you’re entertained by some of my stories, inspired by my successes, motivated by my failures, and eager to hear more so that you can bring good into your world, as well. Never stop dreaming. Never stop doing. And never stop believing. Together, in the end, we’re all in the same boat.
